Saturday, November 24, 2001 12:29 p.m. YIPPEE! One of my best friends in the world is in town this weekend and we're going out! *L* Actually I'm going out w/ four girlfriends tonight and I couldn't be happier ^_^ It's not often that I get to hang w/ many girls, let alone four! I hope I have lots of fun *boing* I'm sure I will ^_^

Ever had one of those days where you just feel frumpy? Or on the flip side have you ever felt actually pretty? Luckily for me it's the latter today ^_^
I don't know why but I have felt so unattractive lately. I guess a little bit of pudge here and there, and the fact that I honestly can't even afford to get my hair cut, much less buy new clothes. *geez I'm a whiner!*
Just felt like whining about that, but on a better note...like I said, I do feel pretty today ^_^ I'm wearing a short flared w/ pleats black skirt, a maroon top and an adorable black and white scarf with small maroon buds knotted around my neck, and hell, even my hair cooperated this morning!
Maybe things will get better ^_^

I'm at work and bored so I figured what would be better than sitting down and talking to myself in my journal? *L* I guess as long as I don't answer back everything's fine ^_^ (sure Michele...justify, justify)
This sure has been a wierd week...first of all it's been SHORT because of the Labor Day holiday, then my brother started school too, which makes it hard on me because I have to get up earlier for him too. *sigh* I'm just so glad that it's Saturday and tomorrow is Sunday and I get to relax a bit.
Ooh! Speaking of Sunday tomorrow starts the real football season which in turn means that I start my fantasy football year too ^_^ I know I haven't been much of a football fan in the past, but it is a bit more interesting when I have money on the line and I can root for my guys. Plus my team the Anime Babes rock! I've gotten to the playoffs for our league each year I've played and last year I got second place....not too shabby eh? I also hope to get a small website up for my ff team this season, just for giggles of course. I've already decided on which 'anime babe' will be the team mascot...but that's a secret *L*
Another random note...Chrono Cross is addictive as hell...I'm glad I bought it for myself for my birthday. I think that after I beat it I'm going to go buy Final Fantasy Chronicles so I can play FF4 and Chrono Trigger...never can have too many RPGs to play in my opinion.
Wednesday, August 29, 2001 03:37 p.m. Yesterday was my birthday and dang it was fun *L* Can you catch the sarcasm there? I guess each birthday just gets more and more depressing as you get older. I guess it wasn't horrible, but it just wasn't fun. I did have lunch and cake w/ my family, but I suppose it's hard to feel chipper when money is tight and your car is in the shop and your husband's car needs to be in the shop and he isn't getting paid and etc....just needed to whine.

I'm sooooooo excited! Tomorrow I'm going to Otakon with the rest of the gals and we are gonna have F-U-N! I just talked to my mother-in-law who is the chief engineer behind my costumes and she just finished the main sewing! All I have left is to trim up the strings on the costume and do a few minor finishing touches ^_^
yay for mommy-in-laws and yay for tomorrow!

Here's the new layout....*note to self - don't try and do layout ANYTHING at work again, things just get whacky*
I'm really happy with how this turned out....it sure was annoying last night trying to figure out WHAT to do w/ it, but I am happy with the result. The two people in the image are Miyazawa and Arima from KareKano (His and Her Circumstances) which is a great anime! The theme of the layout is 'An Angel's Promise' which is the opening song to the anime. A few of the lyrics are here too.
Well I'm going to try to write more in here than I have been, but if I don't, well who cares? This journal is for me to enjoy anyway ^_^
